London 2014 ????? (Part 2)

Since we don't have much time in London, we decided to take Big Bus Tours in which we can covered most of the attractions in one day. This bus is not Big Bus, but is red double-decker bus which is a symbolic of London. We were lucky to spot this old red double-decker when were waiting for Big Bus .

Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament)?

Big Ben, a well known clock tower in the world?

Westminster Abbey ?

Buckingham Palace,The Changing of the Guards?

The London Eye

This is the Big Bus that we took. When we sat on the roof top, we were able to view wider and beautiful scenery. But I just able to sit there for a while, as I can't stand the cold weather and cold wind.?

"London bridge is falling down, falling down " , no , this is not London bridge but Tower bridge ^_^. As for the real London bridge, it is just an ordinary bridge.?

We also visited Harrods , a luxury department store that you can't miss when you visit London.?

We had nice ribs and steak on the last day in London, we went to Angus steakhouse.

London 2014 ????? (Part 1)

After Paris, we were heading to London for a very short trip for 3 days 2 nights. We should have stayed longer, because London is so beautiful and clean.

We took Eurostar train at Gare Du Nord terminal station from Paris to London.?

Heard about Channel Tunnel (underwater rail tunnel) of travel between London and Paris, so we decided to try our first experience with Eurostar. It supposed took us around 2hrs to reach London from Paris. But we were very lucky that got stuck underwater due to train technical problem and it took us 4hrs to reach London. It was a terrific experience, anyway, Eurostar later did made compensation to us ^_^.?

The best thing travel by train is you are able to see beautiful country side.?

Then we reached St Pancras London station?

After dropped our bag at the hotel (The Castleton Hotel London), we were starving, stopped by a fast food restaurant for our first meal at London, Fish and Chips, it was not bad at all.?

No waste of single minute, we started to explore London ...The weather was chilly at that time, so we slowly walked to Hyde park.?

We were there during early Spring (Apr 2014) , so we are able to see beautiful flowers started to bloom. These were beautiful tulips at a small garden nearby the hotel we stayed.?

Then we took this Tube / Underground to next destination?

Many local food stalls

We stopped by Jamie Oliver's restaurant (Union Jacks UK) for an early dinner, but we have no luck to see him in person.?

We were enjoyed food here, pizza was nice with tasty topping, and I especially love the grilled salmon with fresh herbs salad, it was very fresh and good.?

After dinner, we continued to explore London at night. We were walked to Waterloo Bridge.?

So happy to see London Eye and Big Ben !!?
